Hacking supercard dead?

My supercard stopped being recognized by my ds. Is there some sort of fix I can apply or is it dead? Other games do get work on my ds by the way so I'm pretty sure its just my scds1 (non hc).

Try opening it and cleaning the contacts

EDIT: By this I mean open the supercard, get a q-tip with alcohol on it and clean the contacts

That happens to me too, every now and then. Just pull in and out the SCDSOne a few times, and it should work.

Yeah ive been doing that the past few months but now its just refused to be recognized. I'll try and clean it and see what happens.

Yeah, I would try cleaning it with some rubbing alcohol.

Then, spray some compressed air into your Slot-1

I can't say on this mabye look up a guide on how to remove the spring.

My spring's broken too, I use duct tape to keep it together
