Hacking supercard 1.4

how will i know if i updated my supercard i dont have those huge black flash drives it got stolen so i got that lil one still so all i wanna know is how do i know if i updated it or not also i have and 8 gig and they said that might not work on new update

The update is usually done via the DS-slot USB adaptor (which you say has been stolen) so I am unsure as to whether you can update with a normal DS/DSi on firmware 1.3 or below. All the update adaptor did was provide power but I am unsure whether it can update anywhere else.

well cant u use any flashdrive which alows u to put a sd hc inside of it
