Gaming Super Smash Bros for 3DS

I know I'm a little too late playing SSB4 but I just bought 3DS XL as a gift.
Now the problem is when I play SSB4, most of the time after playing 2-3 smash run or classical mode, I get stuck on the loading screen. Also when I try to access Options, specifically Controls, the game hangs, but accessing other options has no problem.

halp me pls, I really want to progress through the game

Are you using CFW? Is your CFW and the game both updated?

This happens if you are using cfw that redirects game data to the sd card. People use this feature to use custom costumes and stages but it causes those modes to not work. You can turn it off by holding a couple buttons when booting your 3ds to see the cfw settings.

Yes I am using CFW, but my Smash 4 is up to date with all the DLC. (Is Luma 3DS a CFW? if yes, then it is up to date)

Sorry i don't have time right now to check what's it is exactly but if you are in the preboot settings, there should be something that says game redirection and you need to disable it. Honestly, you can just go find a tutorial to add mods to super smash bros and just do the opposite.
