Well, there hasn't been slot machines in international releases since gen 4.
And the trainers "gamblers" had their names changed to "gamers"

They're fine playing against friends (and again i'm quite sure you can use them against friends), but Nintendo has never been capable of balancing the Mii characters they shove into every single game. I'm betting Mii's with the best items are probably horribly balanced and incredibly broken, so they reeeally have no place online, otherwise everyone would use them or lose because of it. (kinda like Mario tennis)

Also, Soul Calibur. That game pretty much invented player made cameo battles.

Or do it like me and take Kirby, grab the ledge, jump and suck a Mii in, then spit it out, under the stage. The Mii dies and you can save yourself. Repeat, done.

Whenever I try this, either the Mii doesn't die or they punch me in the face when I jump up to try to grab one.

Dont make the mistake and try to go on the stage again. Jump up and start sucking when you are in the air. Then you suck it in and fall right of from the stage, spitting it out in the next moment. Just make sure the Mii does not head jump you, instant death for every Kirby.

I'm not trying to go on stage. You have to jump up from the ledge to suck in a Mii, and between the jumping and the sucking they always hit me.

I think it is because they get beat a few times, then they make it some sort of challange to beat you atleast one time, and if it happens they run with their victory before they lose again

It's times like these when I wish I had bought a standard 3DS (not the LL) because it'd fit perfectly my pocket whereas my 2DS takes up too much space but I love playing on it, and it's comfortable plus its tablet-ish design was one of the reasons I decided to get it (honestly not a big fan of the clam design).

I'll make up for it when Super 3DS XL Edition is released, although it's also dependable on the price it'll be here in the UK (consoles and games tend to be overpriced unlike in the US which are way cheaper.. lucky bastards).
