Then mention it on your post next time, because not everyone is having the same case here. Most people here use gateway for bypassing region locking and one of gateway's weakness is not having access in a different eshop's region

yeah, in the demo i noticed you get these coins after a match, and i think i read that when you get 100 or something you can make your character 'gold'.
i wonder why they didn't manage to add this to the game when it was 'produced'...

and keep in mind that nintendo did not do this because of pirates, people will still be able to pirate the game, people will still be able to go online.

The only reason it exists is to enable online only when the game is officially released. This seems like just a way to prevent people with early copies from accessing online until it's released for everyone (in Japan :'()

I do agree withh it heavily, as one of Gateway's biggest advantage is playing games from other regions. Whether they are importing retail games or play ROMS. That's why so many people want smash in the first place, before in even comes overseas. -_-'

also im buying the double pack with a friend of mine.I got a second xl that is legit without gateway on latest firmware i support smash so just have fun and don't start fights if u don't want it to locked XD
