So, I wanted to get this cart for the 9.2 Update, and I guess I found Rev3, because mine wants me to update to 9.5....

Such a waste of money.
Can you tell us the first 7 digits printed on the back of the card?

ex. AXCE***
where *** is a 3 digit number.
You can reveal the remaining digits, but it's optional.

This may help us identify card updates in the future.
There's a thread about it here.

ID on back of cart
AXCE353220
Thank you so much. Now we should have a visual indicator of what firmware is on the card. (if you're buying used in a store that lets you inspect the cartridge ie gamestop)

You were really unlucky.
The last confirmed batch of 9.2 was "AXCE352***" which I documented here.

So it appears the 9.2 update is any batch from AXCE152 to AXCE352 inclusive.
Don't buy the game if it's not in that range.

Has anyone tried to explain the situation to a gamestop employee to see if their cool if you check the revision of the cart before you buy it? (obviously don't tell them its for hacking, but for collectors purposes or something)

I really want one of these carts now as themehax is the best thing to ever exist and I don't trust myself with sysupdater (plus I can use the cart as another way to launch HBL)

Well I went to three different gamestops today to look for a 9.2 one (managed to find it at my local mall, they had 5 used copies but I only checked the first one as it had 9.2)

Be careful out there guys. One of the cartridges I tested in my 3ds had the 9.5 update on it! It gives you a yes/no option to update though. Just be careful!

What's the AXCE*** on the back of the cart if I might ask?

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

@BigOnYa, Then i think people were talking about fallout 76
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    that one was buggy too
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, I may probably download fallout 3 or new vegas on my ps3
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
