wow, i was going to wait until all of the chapters were released before playing....but with this translation getting started i think i may get to check it out a little earlier !!

It's fully playable as is, the menus just make it a bit easier for users to get into it if they can't read Japanese.
Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to translate the battle menus as I've been unable to find them anywhere in the game. However I have managed to translate almost all the other menus and such. Working on Song names ATM. Then it's on to abilities and a few other things.

OH SHIT WHAT?! How did you view the data in the Eboot.bin?! For me 99% of it is just gibberish!
(Alternatively, you wanna share that Eboot.bin? Eh? Eh?)

Also ShyCity, you want to work together on translating the rest of this game? Or are you not planning on releasing your work?
 
OK Awesome. Got the Eboot.bin decrypted and got most of it's delicious contents translated. Thanks for the heads up MrShyCity!
Going to try and finish off the main stuff in the base game (stats, descriptions, etc.) then it's onto the DLC stuff!

not sure how i can help out...but i will continue to encourage you to work on this project.
 
Working on both yo. Danball is just going a bit slower ATM.
There's really not a whole lot left for me to translate in Danball outside of the plot itself.
The only other thing for me to translate would be things like E-mails or the missions, but since it gives indicators on where to go all the time you really don't need those.
Also with the possibility of Danball getting a stateside it's really brought my want to work on Danball down.
 
Appreciate the thought/effort but we've already got the menus done and that's the only thing translated on that Wiki. The only other page is just a list of how to get items from each enemy.
 
Oh also Shy, you haven't by chance found the unit stats have you? If we can find where the info is stored for those (攻撃, 防衛, 回避, 命中, サイズ, 気力, and 移動) then we'd be rocking.

in that download link it says version 05, what version is the patch on the first post? (if any)

Don't worry i don't think he's claiming it as his, he's just sharing it (he also added a patcher) but everybody knows you created the patch.
Have you ever updated the cpk files on the first post? you should put it a version number so we know when to update too, right?

No point in updating the original post CPK.
I should probably remove that file since it serves no purpose.
Unless you mean updating it as a patch, because I'm not putting the final patch here till it's like 90% done.

hey lol that my video and no i wasn't claiming it was mine just spreading it on youtube so people can get the english patch . nice work btw crashmanx
