How many of you tempers have actually beaten it?
I myself pretty much gave up at 60 stars because of all the fucking "secret" levels when it became an impossible platformer where making one wrong step means you die.

I WOULD have beaten it, but I don't have a way to play it until we have GC ISO support in USB loaders.

The only thing that's hard is finding all of the blue coins (And even that isn't too bad with a guide). You just suck at the game

aside from me sucking at the game, the ridiculous "other-space" platforming levels where you could fall to imminent doom at a miscalculation of a jump were practically impossible. i just gave it a shot for 2 hours and got nowhere

I thought I got about 105 stars or so...
But I think Super Mario Sunshine actually was one of the better 3D Mario games.

I finished it, got all the shines (not stars). That was a while ago though.

I remember getting lost as some point. I also remember the hardest time I had was with the Yoshi platforming in the middle of a bay.

Good game...

I don't like the whole water pump thingy gimmick. So, no, I didn't finish it.

I got fed up of it too. It's difficulty curve in terms of getting stars went from stupidly easy to epically impossible after you reached the 70-80 mark.

And I even had the patience to get every GREEN STAR in Galaxy 2! >.

Yeah I beat it. I was harder than 64, I will say that, but I loved a lot of things about it so it kept me motivated enough to beat it.

That was the first game I got with my Gamecube, and I still haven't beaten it. I found it really frustrating with the platforming.

I beat the crap out of it a few times. It's a pretty fun game that takes some skill in the later levels. When it comes down to straight platforming and timing, the developers really go all out. A lot of the water puzzles were fun, and the bosses in a few areas were actually pretty difficult until you learned how to combat them.

I got around 80 stars, it's a hard game. I had a lot of fun with it though, and at least it wasn't as easy as Mario Galaxy. Getting all 120 stars on galaxy was so easy it wasn't even funny.

As much as I loved the title, I never went back to get all of the stars. I beat the game with the absolute bare minimum requirements - my gamecube controller at the time was broken, making the rocket FLUDD aiming a LOT harder than it should've been :/

I finished it 4(+) times. >___<

I just love it so much. All shines.

But I had the guide book(Which I still own!).

I've beaten it but it did take a long time without a guide. This game was by far the most tedious Mario game I have played.
