Finished porting Sirena Beach and Hotel Delfino. Video/screenshots in first post.

I haven't done the hotel casino yet though. I'm going to try and port the level used in the battle with King Boo under the casino as the level where you have to fight King Boo to unlock Luigi in SM64DS.

The next level's going to be Delfino Plaza.

It's not released yet, won't be until it's finished.
You can download a demo of (early) Bianco Hills and Pianta Village from the first post. You'll need a clean EUR SM64DS ROM to apply the patch to. You can play the patched ROM in an emulator or on a flashcart.

I think that's the last "big" level I'm porting from Mario Sunshine, the rest'll be the smaller 1-star levels like the big slide and lily pad ride and also entirely new levels.

I've been following this thread from April, but i signed up only now. The project is wonderful, can't wait to play it.

There's a problem with the patch though, i continue getting a "target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT" message.

Anyway, if i can join the team i could add working stars, enemies, coins and all the other stuff. Let me know.

You need to use an unpatched European version of the ROM, otherwise it won't work.

I need 3 - 5 levels to replace the secret/challenge levels (like http://www.mariowiki.com/images/9/96/SMSunshine_SecretLevel.jpg) as it's impossible to copy those from SMS.
PM me if you want to design/create one of those levels.
But, but... RICCO HARBOR! :cry:
I may still do it, I forgot about it.

Have finished Ricco Harbour, that's the last main level from Mario Sunshine that I'll be poering. I'm now going to start working on adding the secret levels and probably my own main levels.
Thanks to GBAtemp member †Nømura for making the Pianta Village Secret Level.
Screenshots for both in first post.

Very nice, I can see this project is coming together nicely.

It's unfortunate though that the textures are so pixelated...

Have you changed the controls at all in this version? made them more fluid or are you just tackling the new levels.

Fantastic job so far. Very impressed.

Are you going to do two levels to replace Pinna Park and Corona Mountain?
It must be based on these levels.
And i like this SM64DS Hack.

Okay and whats about the other three secret levels Red Coin Field, Pachinko Game and Turbo Track?
I think you can make Red Coin Field. I am really sure.
