It plays 100% fine for me except whenever i get into a battle and attack with a timed attack the game will lag really bad past the animation does this happen for anyone else or is it just me? its annoying to have to deal with :P

It's probably the gradient effect on the hit stars. Go into the hacks menu and set palette writes to simple or off.

actually no, I have never had any trouble playing Mario RPG or doing timed attacks no slow downs either so I'm not sure what the problem is maybe Defrag will help?

    I use both Snes9x 1.53 and Bsnes 0.89

Can you even defrag a memory stick?

There is an enemy in Numbus land who uses some sort of blizzard attack and it lags my PSP all the way down to like 8 fps. It sucks but as long as you can get through it, you can continue playing.

yes I would think you can defrag the memory stick if you have an adapter or slot for it on the pc/lappy and I missed the tyl lol didn't see it...even so I never had any problems playing Mario RPG on my PSP Slim 2000, no lags or anything and at one point I helped Zack with Snes9x Euphoria :P

defragging it is going to prematurely kill it. just do a reformat.
