I'm not new to the scene, (I hacked my Wii when the Twilight Hack was new) I've just not heard of NZB files before, because I've never needed to use them.

Thanks for your help so far guys, I got the 1.68GB file from the "Neo" site and when I extract the NZB file it's only 405KB... I've tried using WBFS Manager to format the file as suggested, but that option doesn't seem to exist...

NZB files are nothing to do with the game, they are the same to newsgroups as what torrent files are to bittorrent programs i.e. you use them to download something. Try looking elsewhere.

No idea how you managed to end up with a 1.6 gig nbz file, but you could always try renaming it to .ciso or .rar to see if there's a been a simple naming mix up somewhere along the way.

Thanks, I just looked up the defination of NZB files and how to use them, etc, so it will come in handy in the future. After all that I managed to find SMG2 on one of the private torrent sites I frequent. Yay, only 10 more minutes to wait!

I can report this works with CFG usb loader with cios rev 19 (ios 38 as base) with default settings.

And I'll be honest, it astounds me there isn't any new AP in this game. I thought for sure we'd have a day of people bitching about how it doesn't work. Way to take out the middle man Ninty

i dunno what copy ya'll got but when i extracted the scrubbed file it came out to a regular size wii game around 4.6gb

does the .ciso file need converting to .iso 1st b4 copying to HDD, or can you just use WBFS Manager to copy over as is?

Is this supposed to be downloading this slow? It downloaded at 300kb/s when it first came out and barely anyone had it ... then more people got it and instead of being faster, it downloaded at 50 kb/s .. and now it's just downloading at around 20kb/s ff

Me too I was expecting it to be days if not a week before we could play this especially from usbloaders

To the guy who asked on the previous page, yes the music is orchestral.

Error #002 when loading in the disc channel with a chip. It works in Gecko but from memory it wasn't that hard to fix with NSMBWii? Patch the .iso somehow? Would be appreciated!

I've heard that in preview builds of the game the music files were in midi, which explains the unusually small size of this image (original Galaxy was 3.5GB). Can anyone confirm if this does have the full-orchestrated music or if it's just midi?

i think its because nintendo didn't add story movies to this game. watch the IGN video review

Yeah, it will do. Scrubbing replaces the garbage data with zeros, which means it compresses much more but will be the same size when extracted.

i downloaded at 11mb/sec would have been 13 but my net has been going slow since they added upgrades.
