If you're not already, try a private torrent site, I got it so quickly!

or usenet is even better

Hey I only had to wait 40 minutes, that's fine with me! I remember the public torrent days.... *shudders*

Anyway, noone's mentioned anything about 4.1 yet, so for all the 4.1 users out there I've managed to get this working on USB Loader GX and disc loader with Neogamma with no problem. It's a Mario time!

Wait what do people mean by story movies? Like cutscenes? Because I have no idea...

And on the same note I have noticed that most recent Mario games are quite small in file size for both DS and Wii...

Is anyone over world 3 yet?

The Demo the press played was up to world 3 only, that wold explain the file size and no AP

how is that thread even allowed?
There is NO way anyone here is using a real backup .... USA release is on sunday.
In theory, absoultely everyone here could have got hold of a legit copy early through importing it from somewhere or buying it from a store willing to sell early and now they want to know if there are any issues with backing up their legit game. Of course... it's only a theory.

Softmodded Wii 4.0, latest neogamma and rev 19...not working
I can go to the main menu and select a file. But when i try to play it...a warning " unable to read the disk" appears. Same thing happened with trauma team.

What should i do?

i don't know for mario galaxy but brickblocking did the trick for trauma team...
in fact every atlus game seems to not work unless it's brickblocked
anyone have any idea why is that?

working so far on Coverfloader, Rev14 and USA 4.0 wii, plays superbly.
had to use wii backup manager to convert the .ciso file to .iso and then copied to HDD using WBFS Manager.

yoshis tongue has a superb reach and he eats almost anything, including rocks. the music is excellent. game = FTW

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
but why choose it over ysmenu @Psionic Roshambo?

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card

Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
