I am wanting to buy a flashcard for my 3ds and ive decided i want the supercard dstwo. but i got some questions.

if i buy from the temps sponsor, do they update the flashcard to the latest kernel?

i know that future 3ds updates will make me have to update the flashcard, but how do i do it without using another ds?

can it play nes, snes, gba, gameboy color, and sega roms?

please list all the roms that it can play

question #1: Don't know.
question #2: You can do it without a ds if you update the card before you update the 3ds.
question #3: I know it can do gba. I think it can do nes and snes.
As for the rom list, I'll say to go and google it.

1. It depends on the seller. Since there was just an update released, it probably won't come pre-updated unless you can contact the seller and ask.
2. You can download the supercard updates, change the filename slightly (on the supercard.sc it tells you what to rename it), put it on the sd card. Then when you load the supercard it will give you an error. Leave it on that error screen without touching anything for five minutes, then power off. The dstwo uses it's extra cpu to draw power from the system and update itself, even with the 3DS already updated.
3. It can play all of the above types of ROMs. I assume by Sega, you mean genesis?

I say buy a Supercard dsonei mini, for almost half the price, you'll get all the featured of the ds2(except for gba emu).
If you want to play gba games, use ichichfly's wonderful gba emu(even Pokemon plays now )

ive never been happier with a flashcart than when i bought the supercard dstwo, ive owned r4i gold, ak2i, dsonei, cyclodsi evolution, and a couple other, none are as good as the scdstwo, it has a slick gui plus great gba emulation, and its not too hard on the battery either, no contact issues or anything, scdstwo is definitely the peak of the ds flash cart industry
