Super Cane Magic Zero - Difference Between USA & ASIA Releases

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone knows the difference between the USA and ASIA releases of Super Cane Magic Zero. The size difference is pretty big. The ASIA release came out before the USA release. The ASIA and USA base games are the same size, 1.86GB, so I would assume they are the exact same content. But what I want to know is what is update 1.0.3 that's only available for the ASIA release? I looked online and found some patch notes Here, such as a new character, new enemies, new arena, etc. The update is a total of 1.10GB, so obviously this content is not included in the USA release. So I'm hoping someone can enlighten me on the differences, because it doesn't even make sense why they would re-release the game for USA when the ASIA release already includes English language. Are they waiting to push an update out for the US release? I can't find anything online about the different regions.
