All new consoles (not bundle) from Amazon are most likely above 4.05.

hey guys, mind helping me about this console, i just got it in the mail but i dont want to open it unless im sure it is the right model, the retailer doesn't accept open boxes returns.

Nobody can be sure at this point, so you wouldn't get any guarantee confirm from anyone. However from OP, one of other poster bought CUH-2016A got safe firmware. You may try to pm that member and do a double check other numbers

Never mind , the temptations got the better of me XD. @olfa they sent me a regular console with uncharted game taped to the box >.> but hey it is an old console so i am happy

it came with 3.51. not sure if i should update it to 4.05 or not, my main intention was to get GT sport on it, then i remembered i bought it digitally XD

the ps4 i got is european, i attached all the info i can find on the box, but if it helps the "trademark dates" on the box says 2016

I just bought a ps4 slim 1 Tb and it came with 4.70. I don't know what to do with this? Keep or update? I've never at all stayed in touch with the ps4 hacking scene so I am not sure what to do here exactly.
