Hacking suddenly cannot access cheat/setting menu in R4

hello guys, sorry if this sounds very weird. I was adjusting some setting in my 3DS XL such as time, region, etc and the strangest thing happened when I accessed R4... I cannot make the cheat menu appear by pressing Y button. the menu simply didn't appear. did I screw up something? anybody ever experienced this before?

Re-install the menu, and try again. I also remember having to enable pressing the Y button in the settings somewhere, so check that out.
