ok, so i upgraded my galaxy nexus to Android ICS 4.0.4, and had a few issues with trying to gain root access to the system..after a bit of googling, i found out that we need a new su.zip for this version...i have uploaded it to mediafire for anyone else that ,ay be having issues gaining root in ICS 4.0.4...
download a compatible su.zip from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?4gfmc3w2fyx4oe8
and then flash it to your phone with clockworkmod..
