Okay, so I was playing Fire Emblem The Sacred Stones on my Virtual Boy Advance Emulator, when I accidentally pressed the shortcut to load the save state. Unfortunately for me, the save state was from ages ago. Is there any way to return to my previous session?

If you don't have a save? No.
This is a problem I notoriously run into when playing on PicoDrive on the PSP - I jam the right trigger, instinctively thinking it's the "shoot" button when in fact I load a quick save, much to my frustration.
