As some of you already know, men and women have both the main male hormone (testosterone) and the main female hormone (estrogen/estriadol), but the ratio is different.
for men, the ratio tries to remain the same: if the testosterone rises, the estradiol rises to keep that ratio. this is called aromatization.
because of my training and conditioning, my testosterone has greatly increased. the estradiol levels have increased as a result.
having a voice that went down an octave and needing to shave twice a day now are the effects, as well as my skin temporarily being hyper sensitive; I needed that silk shirt and the gynecomastia took place temporarily.
but, I wanted to discuss how differently each one affects my mind.
briefly:
estradiol: "I want to give people virtual hugs, and tell them everything is gonna be ok. I can read your feelings as if you had your life summary above your head in a text box. also, h-hi..I'm very shy."
testosterone: "I'm not interested in your personal views; I need to protect you and make sure you are safe. also, I will make sure you have no reason to feel afraid or give up. I'm a leader."
so today, the estradiol part of my mind is very strong.
so, dave...I get it. you go through stress, and MPRTwice comes along with the same rhetoric: "blah blah tkd blah blah AutoCAD"
to be fair, I have been told to keep my mouth shut at work, and that makes it difficult. by the time I get home, I go "full disgruntled crazy anime writer" mode with my posts. I am this very formal and reserved person at work and in public who has online posts as the one time of day where I can vent, so to speak.
I know I can be a handful. so, sorry if I seem overbearing.
K3Nv4, likewise, I am trying my best. but you do have a sharp wit. I never one saw either of you as loathsome, at all.
so, there...I feel almost a bit shy today...I should be my usual assertive self soon.
take it easy, you two.
