Hacking Stuck trying to use xzxero guide

Im at the dop-ios portion and i dont have the ios249 wad to select as noted in the guide. I also tried to skip ahead the the wad manager install and install nus wad 449 and got an 1036 error. what am i missing

Skip that.
Use Any title deleter insteed on IOS249.
Then use cIOS38_rev14 to install the right IOS249.

Seek it on wiibrew.org.
Its alot of guide here. but many of them is just to complicated.
You can easy do only 6 steep from a virgin 4.2 Wii and you can play all backup you want.

Nintendo's IOS249 is a stub that doesn't do anything except exist. No harm in deleting it. Deleting the System Menu, on the other hand, is an entirely different story. We always say NEVER DELETE STUFF!!1! so the people who don't know the difference between the two won't screw anything up.

@ slowking...... if the guide was working flawlessly i wouldnt be asking questions. Now for those helpful people out there when i delete it using atd, is there a specific IOS to use to reinstall ios249? i used ios36 and still dont get ios249 in the dop.

the guide is flawless, your problem is an user error.
