The 3DS has the streetpass feature which lets it communicate with other 3ds units that you pass by in your daily life.
But how exactly will this work? For instance, what is the range on it? How quickly can it exchange data?
If you are driving by someone on the freeway, will it work?

I would imagine it would be pretty quick, and it would work on the highway.

If I remember correctly, Nintendo3DSblog said the range is around 30 feet (Wasn't Pictochat 100?...).

It's not getting jiggabytes of information, so I'd say the freeway thing would probably work so long as you're not both going superfast.
