So I've recently helped a friend hack a red Wii he just bought using xzxero's guide.
We got CFG USB Loader all set up and it works fine...most of the time. We can get one game to load at a time (all games work), but after playing said game and exiting it, no other games will load for a while (time varies). Also, I don't know if this is significant, but whenever the games don't load, the background music we have set to play doesn't play either. Combinations of unplugging/plugging the hard drive back in, turning off the Wii for periods of time, etc. hasn't shown any consistent results that would hint towards the problem. Similiar results have been seen using a flash drive. Anyone have any ideas?

This hard drive (1.5TB version)
Formatted entirely to FAT32 using GParted Live
uLoader won't even recognize the FAT32 partition (yes there is a ciso folder with .ciso games in it)
