I recently bought a used dsi, which has a problem that I have not been able to fix and I have not found much information about it.

When I turn on the console, it shows the image of "Please Enter your Settings. Tap OK to continue". But nothing happens when I press OK.

At first I thought the digitizer might be bad. But I changed it for a good one and the same thing happens. The console is stuck on this screen and I can't do anything. However, the music continues to play.

I have also tried various combinations of buttons before turning on the console, but without success.

I would appreciate any help!

It seems bricked...
Not even the stylus on touch screen responds?
You should ask the seller for an explanation. If he kept quiet about this defect, he wanted to scam you. I would ask for a refund, if the seller does not offer you a solution that solves the problem.

Anyway, is there a card in the SD slot? If so, try turning it on without it. If there was no SD, perhaps the console needs the necessary files on the SD (cfw) to start, if it was hacked. 🤷🏻‍♂️

i had the same problem and i was able to fix it like this:

hold L + R + Start when powering on to get to the touch screen calibration menu, after calibrating you should be able to continue with the setup.

if you can’t get to the calibration screen you may have a broken button.

if you can’t complete the screen calibration (either nothing happens or the calibration keeps looping) then the touch screen itself may be damaged.
