Hi
I have a Switch with a strange charging issue. With the charger plugged in one way it charges fine, if I rotate the charger, it shows as not charging, the charger is only at 5v. If I put the switch to sleep then wake it up again it starts charging at 15v.
I’ve replaced the Port, BQ, M92 and the P13USB twice but it’s no different.
Does anyone know what could be going off?

thanks

Sorted it. On one CC line it measured open circuit to gnd, on the other it measured 14k. The little dug/7c ESD protection diode was the problem
Can you link a picture of that please. I am having a similar issue with usb c working one way and not the other.

It’s on the underside of the motherboard near to the USB port
Were you testing based on a good console? You said it shorthed to ground and the other measured 14k did you mean on a second console? Any chance you can post a picture of the component at some point?

yes, I checked it against another console. On the faulty console one of the CC lines read 14k to gnd.
