Not at the moment, no. You can get a cheap pandora's battery / deal extreme for around $10.

You can turn any memory stick 128 megs or larger into a magic memory stick (and then simply turn it back to a regular one by formatting it afterwards), but yet, you will need a pandora battery.

pandora @ dealextreme is just 6 dollar, why shouldn't you buy one? also way handier, when your psp gets accidently bricked or something, or if you want to experiment with other firmwares and such

I am glad you got it done, I also had to do this for my friend and use the Pandora battery and MMS.
