You can probably remove it by overwriting it with a sysmenu update or something. Not sure if the app itself has an uninstall feature.

That depends on under which conditions he got the code. If he got it personally from the author with other licensing terms (for example free use) it doesn't apply to him. IF he however downloaded the GPL:d version and used it; that's another story.

People can release the same piece of code under different terms, and the GPL doesn't work retroactively.

A tool of this nature should not be released in source form for the greater good of the community...
One can take it and easily turn it into a bricking machine with intent or no intent and that doesn't need the skills of a programmer...

is it possible to use StarFall on 4.0 or Preloader? I thought it's only possible on System Menu 3.2, because of the Fakesigning bug? Is that the only reason? maybe crediar could develope a 4.0 Version of Preloader (with includes the Function of Starfall "rescue menu by pressing Y on GC"

); but then it must be downgradet...to a trucha system
