Lol, just saying for the people who are still on 5.5

Yeah I was just kidding, its good that you said that. I've never played Star Fox before and I haven't seen much on the Star Fox...
Won't be buying this unless I read some reviews and it sounds really fun.

got my copy too.

game is really nice ...
cannot understand low scores in reviews, new control method is a nice diversive from canonical genre.

this could be a good base for the MMO "Starfox Universe" we all dream on NX ...

-4vs4 open universe and 2vs2 in local
-MMO co-op story mode

Yeah the game is great but still not a fan of the controls. It would be so easy to just use the pro controller '' 1 Analog stick for the movement of the arwing and 1 analog stick for the aiming reticle ". Nintendo claiming it can't be done differently is a pile of horseshit but still a great game lol

i couldn't believe it either
saw a few copies earlier on their website, but they are now sold out/ removed
the funny thing is that the standard version is now selling for 50€ at their website
while the first print was selling for the same price i got it for

I got it for 62 euro wich suprised me because normally Wii u special editions sell for 59.99 euro but probably because of extra taxes the law is issuing the price is up.

main screen gives you a better look of your surroundings
while gamepad screen allows you to aim more easily while moving
i'm not a big fan of motion controls myself but i'm really enjoying the game so far

well only a score of 71 on metacritic :creep:

71 is a number, an average from a bunch of people who are not me. A game like SM3DW world ranks in with a score of 93, but does that mean anyone who doesn't like that game has poor taste? Of course not. Maybe they don't like platformers. It's not a requirement that they should.

And another thing. For as much as Metacritic is used to make things easier for people to check ratings, it's rather shady that they had to use a different rating scale for games than what's used for everything else on that site. For example, a game requires a score of 75 or above to be considered positive. Not so with movies, books and music. A positive score for those is being above 60, a full 15 points less. Hell, that one score of 40 for SFZ would be considered mixed/average if the game rating scale was the same as with movies, books and music.

It really does depend on the person's taste of the game. So far, I've heard good things about the game, with the only complaint being the gyroscope controls, but it really depends on the person getting used to it. I've seen that the controls can be actually kinda fun to use as soon as you get the hang of it. Personally, I don't have a problem with a game using motion controls when it's used in a good way (imagine Kirby Triple Deluxe), so even though I'm no Star Fox fan, I'm willing to give this a try to have a small first feel of the Star Fox games.
