Lucasarts, don't make bad sequels/ ports of these games for 3ds. Show Guild that battlefront would be an awesome fps for 3ds.

Most companies have people who browse the web to see what's being said about their games/movies/books/etc. So maybe they are. I hope they are.

Guild McCommunist, please stop posting.

Everyone is sick of you.

Thanks.

This whole "argument/discussion" of yours about what should and shouldn't be on a handheld was kinda put to rest when
you beloved psv came out was announced. Something like
I know what I said about fighting games on a handheld, but it is freaking Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3!
Just trying (as well as others) to get their point across.

I mean if it was Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 up there as a topic, what would you have said. I probably guess
something that just "happen to" still bash on the 3ds in some way or form.

OK. Star wars: Battlefront/Rouge Squadron/Episode I Racer for N3DS: what are your thoughts on: 1) the game and 2) what should it be called?

Lucasarts surprises the world. They decide to make a full-fledged online Battlefront III title on the 3DS. It sports:

*60FPS stereo 3D
*against-the-wall graphics (that's how hard they push the hardware, against the fucking wall)
*8-way online with drop-in-drop-out
*drop-in-drop-out (DIDO) is for when players leave prematurely or disconnect. the side that loses a player gets a temporary bonus (additional reinforcements) that are removed (if not consumed/used up) when a new player drops in
*DIDO supports FC join game and Quick Join (from game, select Quick Join to immediately join an ongoing game)
*in case there's not enough people joining, leavers/quitters can be filled in by an intelligent support AI (AI that doesn't necessarily own players, but one that can perform well supporting other players-- your perfect team-player wingman)

Ground combat and space combat is in, players can create their own characters, or customize heroes with their own load-outs, skills, bonuses, etc.

semi-seamless transition between space combat and ship interior combat (when landing troops inside battleships to engage them)

Vehicles.

broad selection of races/species, with three basic classes that upgrade into tier 2 and tier 3 classes, and at least one unique class specific per race.

Voice chat. or better yet, video chat IN-GAME (you can toggle if you want voice or video). server will disable your video or voice chat depending on your internet connection (you gotta be pinging fast, boi).

DLC and patch/fix support.

if this ever happens, which i sincerely doubt, that right there is full on console experience on a handheld. a ridiculously robust online experience like this will change handheld gaming.

Well, typically it's nintendo that dramatically changes handheld gaming. But I think LucasArts could do the same if they work hard enough on it. The Metroid Prime game on ds was a quite decent fps. And we're talking about the 3ds, so I think it could support an even better fps game like battlefront,

Bump again.
Why are you bumping?
We aren't game developers, nor 3DS-homebrew makers, so there really isn't any reason to bump this thread.
If you really really really want it, then go to some popular gaming website where game developers lurk.

Maybe they could even add power ups that are scattered out on the racetracks like in Mario kart.

George Lucas would make a great power up. Basically fuck up any continuity or common sense in your opponents. Then you'd just get millions of dollars and zoom off into the Tatooine sunset.
