Hopefully it's not like the newer Star Trek movies. They're not bad movies (well, at least the first one wasn't, I haven't watched the second), but they're more along the lines of Star Wars than Star Trek.

god i hope its decent. i dont care if its set in new trek or old trek or in the past or future (relative to TNG). i just hope the writing doesn't suck and we get a good crew.

DS9 and TNG were ST at its best - hoping this new show gets closer to the feel of those than Voyager or Enterprise did.
Despite it's low budget, I really enjoyed the Renegades fanfilm... I'd settle for something like that
