is this the right website for usenet?
http://www.usenet.com/
i didnt know if it was a fake one i know it sounds stupid

and is that the best one to sign up to

You have to pay for Usenet, man.

yer i know thats y i wana know if its the true one so i can sign up
There are several providers, there is no "true one."

If you can't understand this, then Usenet will be too complex for you.

how long does it take to upload this game on the internet??

Well it's dual layer.... and one layer is usually 4.3gb
so.... yeah it could take awhile.

I don't see why they would use something as inconvenient as usenet or IRC to start with...
Most people are more familiar with torrents and what not.

I think we need a facepalm smilie asap.

I'll assume you meant that towards those other guys who wont stop asking what it is because they apparently never heard of google. Along with the standard noob crap you probably give to everyone who doesn't do things the exact same way you do.

You pay for Usenet, torrents are free and fast (for this situation) and anyone can immediately jump in and get it without some special account. I'm sure the service is fine and all, but it's not available to just everyone at any time, so that makes it a bad choice to first upload to. That's all.

Not that I even care too much about that, it'll still spread to other services quickly.

ho yeah, did we all forget about this?

UDATE 2: Crediar the author of WiiTools claims WiiTools can extract the image fine. So the assumption in the previous update which was based on a users reply on the forum (not the authors) is wrong.

source is from wiinewz, before it went down

so, not all hope is lost, i guess

calicocoa, you there?
Yeah.
Hey man...sorry about the news with Xander and such
Is there any way I could help out in the chan?
You mean crowd control?
Possibly
Also...why is your IP the same as Xanders... :/
It's not.

I don't get it. Why wouldn't have anyone said that until now? Also, did he spoof it or what? For some reason he would never set the channel mode himself. He would always ask me to do it.
...
it's not spoofed.
xander, you've got to be kidding
I still don't get what you're saying. But now I have to kill you.
QUOTESo, I pointed out that Cali kicks anyone who accuses him of being Xander, then posted that link that I put up there. He does nothing, and sends me this

calicocoa> Yeah, didn't work, did it, idiot.

This caused me to blatantly post "XANDER = CALI" getting me banned. The following results.

lol, oh well. Whatever Xander.
Heh. I knew it.
Good for you. But I waited so nobody noticed. You lose.

@ EVERYONE ON SMASHBROS IRC:

All 400 of you are either blind, or i don't know.

Xander is [email protected] * Xander
calicocoa is [email protected] * calicocoa

They are the SAME PERSON. he has been playing with ALL of you for the past 48 HOURS >_>

Please wait for a real scene group to release this, not some n00b on IRC who thinks he is cool, and has never heard of a WHOIS IP >_>...

Seriously did anyone check both the OP's IP when they were in IRC for the past 2 days?....

I suppose everyone knows this already, but since I haven't seen it here I just thought I'd post it.

This was on IGN:

Yesterday's report of a buggy firmware update procedure for Japanese Smash Bros. Brawl discs was apparently just the start of problems for Nintendo. Today, the company issued a statement about reported disc read errors for the game.

According to the statement, Nintendo has received complaints from Smash Bros. Brawl buyers of the Wii being unable to read their newly bought disc, or of videos chopping up during playback. These users claim to have had no such problems with past games.

Could this be one of the reasons that the game seems not working. I can imagine someone dumping it, testing it and throw it in the bin as "a bad dump".

Nope, already posted. It's because the disc is Dual Layer and we didn't have a Dual Layer dumper at the time.

No. It's simply because some Wiis have weak or dirty lasers which cannot penetrate to the second layer of the SSBB disc.
