Hacking SSBB + error 001

Hi, there! I'm new around here, if you haven't noticed...
I've read many, many, maaaaaaaaanyyy topics before posting here, so please don't kill me

I need to get rid of this fucking error #001 on Super Smash! I read a lot around here, but I couldn't understand 3 things:
1 - All I have to do is get the main.dol from the ISO, use the GenericWiiPatcher to remove the error, and put the file back into the ISO?
2 - How do I extract the main.dol from the ISO?
3 - How do I put it back?

Could someone explain me, please?

Short answer, read some more!

Your first point is almost right, you need to make sure you sign the partition once you replace the edited file.

Bottom of first post under "Additional info for some users" the 4 steps there should do it for you.
