They'd be silly to keep keys like that on computers that were connected to the internet.
You are right. However, companies do not always do the smartest things when it comes to security. Sony was at one point pretty bad at storing personal data on computers connected to a network that was connected to the internet.

still does not work on o3ds? I was thinking this was going to be a solution to those browse-less 3ds since OOT3dhax freezes on debug with ninjhax 2.0 on 9.0-9.2 o3ds

Doesn't work on Old3DS due to technical reasons. Notice how the system reboots when you open the game? That doesn't happen on New.

Is there a Windows app that can use to broadcast WIFI beacon instead of using Linux based OS? Can one use vitural machine Linux based OS for this?
Just download ubuntu. Then make a bootable flashdrive or a cd. You dont need to install anything since it will allow you to use Ubuntu fully. The only issue is that you will have to redo everything again when you shutdown your pc since it wont save anything.

Wow, how convenient is this, I just learn about this exploit and I already have Kali Linux ready to go on a USB. BrowserHax is gone, so I'll use this to get oot3dhax and all of my life problems are gone(now I just need to figure out how to get a CIA on the home menu that goes directly to boot.3dsx, then life would be perfect, wait a minute, why hasn't someone made an exploit where you go directly to the Homebrew Launcher via. an application(MemChuckHax2 could make this a reality with newer versions))

If you exit settings and have menuhax installed it'll go to boot.3dsx

Um, there is a new bypass for it, instructions are on this page: http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax.php

And then you can use the homebrew launcher cia once you downgrade to 9.2 from 9.3-10.3 (Doesn't work on newer versions): https://github.com/yellows8/hblauncher_loader/releases

Once I downgrade to install this with CFW, can I update the 3DS and it'll stay on? Also, thanks for telling me this; I still had a 3DS at 9.6 luckily.

MenuHax has been wiped out from the 10.6 update, unfortunately, I have to stick to oot3dhax until I figure out a way to downgrade my o3DS
