I really appreciate projects like these because they show just how powerful a piece of hardware can be in the right hands. This is impressive work.

Sadly, the 32X had a quick life. Add-on's are a hard sell for a console, and the 32X was released late into the Genesis's lifespan. Plus, the late-gen SNES releases stole quite a bit of thunder. Donkey Kong Country, Star Fox, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and Final Fantasy VI come to mind. Not to mention a few that didn't make it stateside, like Star Ocean and Tales of Phantasia. With all that in mind, it's nice to see the 32X get some attention.

No joke. It was the second add-on for the Genesis (the first being the Sega CD) and had all of like two dozen games, with about a dozen exclusive to it, and a few of those requiring the Sega CD as well (mostly for music). And hooking all of it up was... interesting.
Why, Sega? Just... why?
