Congrats, you've just blown my mind on how stupid you are.

1) So if we are going with that, the PC section I've seen in stores are smaller than the PSP section. PC's fails now? Don't think so, son.
2) Not seeing anyone with it means they don't want to look like a geek or you need to get out more. I've seen about five people in College sitting in the hallway playing on their PSP and none playing a DS, doesn't mean I class the DS as a fail.

good games what games SE is pretty much the only real dev still developing for it but they'll be abandoning ship REAL soon or how about the trash Nippon Ichi spews onto it?

I wouldn't call the PSP useless. Along with the 'stock' music and video playback and internet capabilities, I can read books, comics, and even control my computer from that little handheld. That's just a few of the homebrew apps. Add in all the other homebrew and you have a very useful device. That's without the games various companies release - many of which are great.

Custom firmware is your friend.

Fanboys shut up now maybe? I'm not a fanboy for any brand. I have both a PSP and a DS, and I'm smart enough to realise that one thing doesn't have to trump the other. They can both be good at the same time, in different ways.

The PSP has its flaws. Yes, yes it does. It's a bit better in later models, but I really don't like the control scheme on the PSP very much. The D-Pad makes my fingers hurt, the analog nub is useless, and the console in general is an unnatural shape for me, which can make even using the 4 main buttons irritating, depending on the game.

The DS has its flaws as well. The graphics were pretty outdated in 2004. They're beyond bad now. I'm also smart to realise that graphics don't matter much, but this actually does cripple 3D games. It has a few good games in 3D, but I think the DS really excels in sprite based games. The resolution's also not so pretty either. Of course, I love the DS' controls. I believe Nintendo has mastered gaming controls schemes.

WHen we get down to it, they're both actually bad as systems. But that's not what matters, is it? It's the games. I have both systems because I can play different games on both.

Actually there are news, a few weeks ago a trailer of it was released and Nomura even tweets about it sometimes.

no FF Agito for the PSP? *sadface* Seems like they do know the PSP won't die.

My guess is that they will release it after Versus.

I don't think they want to wait until 2012 or 2013 to release a game on a console that will have been dead for one or two years.
