Is there any way to install and use Spotify Music Player on a 3ds?
you can't install stuff not made for it...
however someone could make an homebrew, not sure if there is an API for spotify, or a client would be easy to make..
anyway, why spotify? why not a music player?
Spotify because Spotify is the most popular music player xd. but a normal one is also good xd
The 3ds is in serious need of a media player. Even if it streams over Lan or internet
iirc there is already something that does that but I can't remember its name
I've heard that you can use a plex server to stream 3d movies with the 3ds's browser app, haven't tried it yet though. I need to dig and see if a can find a way stream music.
idk if I just mixed it up somehow, but I thought that you could stream music to ctrmus using LAN
I just checked the latest release, doesn't look like it has network functionality
There's this thing called a cellular phone, believe it or not there is a Spotify app for it.
And if you had a way to run it on 3ds your post would have been useful.
I've been able to get to the web player using the browser, it shows 'playing' but no sound is played through the speakers of the N3DS
Pls PM if u find one xd
