I know Im a little bit late for most people here but... has anyone tryed to update splatoon with nnupatcher? it worked for me, installed the update while still giving error when trying to download a system update...

And for other topic... can whoever who fixed the octopus form in octohax+ do it again? with nikki's new script everything still works, but python gives me the error out of range input when I enable the rival squid line...

This is the one I edited, but it's messy and you're probably better off using... well, anyone else's. Squid works for me at least, if that's what you're looking for

Yeah, I tried to do that, but I think Nikki made it so we can't edit the code (other than the IP) to have the Octopus Form bones. So, rip for our Octopus form dreams. I mean, you could try it out on the dangerous variant of the Octohax.

I think we can safely say that we're talking about having the Squid form be the appropriate form for this mod. In this case, the updated code has not allowed the Squid form to be the Octopus form. Sooo, yeah.

Edit: Welp, I now have the unsafe Octohax on my Wii U. But the question is, does it really brick people's saves? Remember, Nikki was the one who had originally found this hack, and played with a few friends on private battles. I don't think that they said that their saves had been bricked. And, sadly I don't know how to fix this..

Remember, Nikki was the one who had originally found this hack, and played with a few friends on private battles. I don't think that they said that their saves had been bricked. And, sadly I don't know how to fix this..

Yes it does, Nikki has said that the person in the private battle couldn't get into Splatoon after it... And do not play online, not only does it brick other's saves, but you will get perma banned instantly.

There is like a 1/10 chance that it won't brick someone, which is when you actually dont end up in their plaza.

Okay, sorry guys for not reading up and stuff (garbage time for me!). Anyways, I guess it's easy to get rid of it. Just don't load up anything for the mod, and then go change your inkling in the settings. Eh, I wonder if it is possible for the Squid bones to be changed in the safe variant to make the Octopus look normal and all. Like we'd need it, all that happens is that we become squids. Rip. But that's my opinion. Aaaaaaaa-

Simply for fun, I just tested out some weapons to see the Octo-Kraken. Hah, silly looking thing.

Cool! Might test it out, as much as I like the safe one, I wanna use recon and just fool around and be a true Octoling.
