So, I've been doing 3DS stuff again lately, and I got thinking. My sister has always wanted more then 100 miis for her island. I got thinking: "Well, Pokemon and VC can be injected. Why not exporting, importing, and editing Miis? Well, I got working. As of now, it modifies Tr(beginning of a miis name) to rT. Pointless, I know. But it's the beginning of my newest project.

(Also, any name ideas? I was thinking "LifeHax" sounded cool.)

I already did some modifications to the save for x99 of items and $999999.99 money. If you use savedatafiler and use "export userdata to SD" on the CTR Card (ROM currently loaded into Gateway), you will end up with a file called savedataArc.txt. I used HxD to hex-edit the file, but you can use whatever you want. (My file ended up having a final offset of 0x001E4C97).

ALL ITEMS inventory values are stored at the very beginning of the file; all unlocked items will have a value from 0x00 to 0x63, while locked/unobtained items will have a value of 0xFD. If you assign any item to have more than 0x63, the game will interpret the save as corrupted.

The name of your island and your pocket money is stored at the very end of the file. Again, giving yourself more than $999,999.99 will make the game think the save is corrupt. Here are some specific offsets:

000018F4 = Travel Ticket
000018F7 = Hypnotizer
000018FE = Hair-color Spray

If you want a copy of my save as a reference, just PM me.

So what's the status on this? . . . I'm working on making a tutorial on this, but I'm just figuring stuff out. Has anyone found the HEX location of the secret foods?

These are my 2 cents . . .
1650 - has the Eye Patch
1680 - has the Laurel Wreath
**they come in different colors so they end up taking the entire row.

Would you be able to make Tomodachi life an entry point for homebrew exploit? If someone can "they will be remembered as Legends" -Rip Hunter

you could probably use a Hex editor to make a mii (or change the values of an existing one) to run the entrypoint code. Just a thought tho. If someone actually is able to do that, that would be awesome.
