Gaming Speculation: New Super Mario Bros 2 to feature Star Road style levels?

For those of you worried thet the new game might be too easy, the beginning of this trailer looks interesting... where is that cannon shooting mario? Possibly to the start of some kind of Star Road/Star World? The small amount we see of the levels certainly reminds me of some of the Star Road levels from Super Mario World.

Same here. I hope this game isn't as short as Super Mario 3D Land.
Also hope that there is a Multiplayer as in like New Super Mario Bros Wii.

There is multiplayer in this game just like NSMBW,
and it will be avaiable on brazilian e-shop,
what will be outstanding for us,
finally we will buy a game for it's right price.

I already read rumours that this game will be avaiable for R$75,00

What makes you say that?

VS, from experience I know that the VS mode is a personal experience, something that will make you say "Aw man Ron! You beat me again!" or something. Online wouldnt be half as fun since you dont get the pride of knowing you just kicked Rons ass 6 or 7 times and see the look on his face and boring quickly seeing how the VS mode on DS gets old quickly if your not playing with the right people.

Co-Op, I think we all know how online Co-Op tends to turn out. Terrible. Unless you can directly communicate with your partner (something we havent seen much of on the 3DS) not to mention the demographic Mario games attract. I can imagine a 20 year old man yelling at a 8 year old because they hit them with a shell over voice chat.

Online Scoreboards, may work out good, but that has a narrow appeal. Not everone gets off on seeing how high their score is over some dude from Wisconsin.

Of course thats my opinion.

Yes, I did beat it entirely, regular and special worlds both with Luigi and Mario.
Still, I think the game is kinda short, so I hope NSMB2 is longer than SM3DLand or I'll be angry at Nintendo.
