I ordered a GBA backlight mod from ebay, and after installing and some tweaking I am SUPER happy with it. However, I did notice my speaker behaving strangely.
Its volume tops out at 75-80% of what it used to be, and the volume slider only works to a point. If you slide it down low enough, the sound cuts out well before it's done rotating. I kept the speaker from my original system, not the speaker that came with the mod. I feared the new speaker might be inferior, and since I had never had speaker issues in the past I opted to keep the original. Now I'm thinking replacing it might help. Has anyone experienced this before?
