And here are my humble suggestions for a new splash screens. Certainly not my best works, I'll try to make something better over the weekend

The design of the first one is nice but might I suggest moving the logo so it doesn't cover her siluet? As for adding a dash of color you could color the sparkles and her bow? At least I think that's a bow.... anywhoo! I would also suggest a different siluet cause I personally don't like how her skirt is so raised :3

Here is an "all-in-one".

If you want the splash screen and the prompt to press start, copy both folders and reiNand.dat to your sd card.

If you want autoboot with a splash screen, copy both folders and reiNand(autoboot with splash).dat to your sd card and rename the file to reiNand.dat

If you want autoboot without a splash screen, copy both folders and reiNand(autoboot no splash).dat to your sd card and rename the file to reiNand.dat, and then delete splash.bin from the "rei" folder.

As always, grab firmware.bin from the link on the github page and place it in the "rei" folder.

Nothing to do with stable. Get region free patched versions or use freemultipatcher. Or alternatively use Bluemooncard.

StreetPass and downloading during sleep mode both work fine for me.

Also for reference, so does decrypting 9.6+ eshop titles with the new seed crypto (used the Tri Force Heroes demo to test the download stuff lol)

So basically no need for cryptofixed stuff now anymore? At least until they need higher than 10.3

Unless the seed gets changed in a new FW and we are blocked from updating again, nope.

Though from what I understand it would take another hardware revision on the scale of the N3DS vs the O3DS for them to block updates like they did for the last year.

Huh. So the possibility is there that even 10.4 emunand could work? Good news.

My understanding is that at worst it will be like the O3DS has been with GW where the update might break some minor functionality and an update to the launcher fixed it. (like the multi-rom menu breaking with every update to the home menu)

I MIGHT be misunderstanding, but the way I understand it is this:

Basically they can't actually change the keys with an update. All they can do is change which keyslots encrypt/decrypt what, and since we now have all of the keys it becomes very hard for them to actively prevent emunand update from working. Even if they update the native_firm with 10.4 and swap around which keys are used to encrypt the kernel, we can easily figure out which ones are in use and update CFW to follow.

I am monotorize the network, when the 3ds enter in sleep mode the modem said that 3ds is disconnet.

For streetpass, this works great. (Raspberry pi)

Its a unique issue to you from the sounds of it. I assume you actually set something to "download later"? like a demo?

idk, I just installed devmenu on 9.2 emu before updating (after making that mistake of updating before installing a package manager x3)

So full of salt, lol. I'm writing this CFW the way I see fit and releasing it for others to enjoy.. not trying to appease the general self-entitled masses. But for what its worth, im doing quite and overhaul on it anyways, so..

Plain, unformatted text conveys no tone whatsoever. If I wished to convey a sarcastic or sardonic tone I'd use formatting such as italics to put emphasis on certain words (as I did the first line of my reply to the first post I quoted).

The only entitled person in this thread is you; entitled to make reiNAND as you see fit, and you should continue to do exactly that.

Personally, I think it has been clear from the beginning that reiNAND wasn't a CFW made for the community, but was instead made for yourself and simply shared with the rest of us.

We are fortunate to have a few CFW options available to us. Those who don't like the features reiNAND offers are free to use something else, just as I did.

I started out using reiNAND, and it served me well. But gradually I realised that you didn't give a fuck about feedback from the community, and had no interest in making adjustments to reiNAND based on that feedback (again, because it was obvious it was made for yourself and simply shared with the rest of us), and that's your totally your prerogative.

In the end I switched to a CFW that had the features I was looking for. That's all.

If getting your thread dug up from page 5 and having everyone faun all over you has inspired you to overhaul reiNAND, then that's awesome, and I wish you all the best with it (genuinely). Fierce competition between CFW developers benefits the entire community.
