That is precisely what I want to avoid. I want to autoboot reinand and then load homebrew launcher as cia. Any help please?

As long as you don't mind forcing yourself to only be able to load reinand on boot, yeah.

Set up menuhax as normal, then place the .3dsx file for reinand on the root of your sd card. Rename it to a unique 4 letter filename (like BREI.3DSX), then open the menuhax payload (also found on the root of our sd card) in a hex editer like HxD. Search the file for "boot.3dsx" and change both instances to whatever you named your reinand.3dsx file to (BREI.3DSX in my example). Then place the homebrew launcher's boot.3dsx on the root of your sd card as well and leave it alone. Now when you boot your console and it executes menuhax, it will load the reinand file instead of the hbl one. Once inside reinand you can install the hbl.cia and run it and the payload it downloads will launch boot.3dsx.

You do not need to use the same name I used in the example, any 4 character name will do, however it has to be EXACTLY four characters, and probably works best if you stick to A-Z and avoid symbols and the like.

Problem solved. Thanks!

No. And you don't have all the keys. There's at least one that you can only get from YOUR 3DS. Just wait until the smart people release it. Then the work will be done for you.
we have all the keys needed to boot it, they got leaked today, you only need a console unique key to decrypt the sector, where the leaked key was saved.

The added benefit of leaving the hbl file as boot.3dsx is you can then still use a standard *hax payload from sysnand (browser, cn, etc) to access homebrew from sysnand if you need to.

This was my understanding as well, with the pastebin that was posted today we have everything we need, because the console unique key was only for decrypting the sector where the leaked shit came from.

This may be a stupid question, but if I have the keys (I guess everyone has them now), is there any way to boot into 10.3 EmuNAND 2 DAY?

Not likely because, as I understand it, the CFW code itself needs an update to utilize the new firm.

Sorry, I only brought up the boot manager because it's what I use as an "autoboot." As long as you don't touch anything and the timeout is 0 sec., it boots straight into whatever you have set as the default. I use it for the additional options and because it has a higher boot rate for RxTools on O3DS than renaming the .3dsx file. I'm not sure if ReiNAND has similar issues, I've only used the boot manager setup on my N3DS.

The problem with rxTools was that the .3dsx file was shitty and had a horrid boot rate, where as ctrbootmanager booted directly from the .dat file. I'd heard that the recent nightlies have a much higher boot rate via .3dsx, but idk for sure. Reinand seems to boot just fine from .3dsx for me.

Just installed it myself. Is there a way to bypass the "Press Start" direction in order to fully coldboot into Reinand?

No.
Only by modifying and building it from source yourself.
Not without editing reinand itself as far as I know.

Lotsa pages back there's a 3dsx version of reinand that autoboots without pressing start
I used to use it awhile back before a redone everything, the only problem why i don't use it anymore is:
- To lazy to search it
- Very confusing, you get 2 black screens for a few seconds before it boots into emunand, leaving you thinking, does it boot or does it hang, and when booted, did it boot into emunand or sysnand?

So i like how you have to press start, cause then you almost certainly know you boot into reiNandCFW and not OFW (sysnand)

My need of a CFW is to play 3ds pirate games, both can do it around the same way i think

Only difference would be who wins the emunand 10.X on N3DS

And if i do transfer Rx-tools to Reinand

Do i need to restart emunand from scratch?
What happens to my cia games + saves?
