Hacking SoulSilver not recognizing .sav anymore

Hey guys, maybe you could give me some insight on this.

Last night, it was working fine, my game saved properly and everything. I went to load it up today and the Rom won't detect my .sav file, prompting me to start a new game. The saves are ON my card, but it's not detecting it.

it's doing this too for Phantom Hourglass, which also worked fine yesterday. Please help

Go to Start->System settings and change the save type to match your preference.

There's no option for it in my System Options. like it was working fine last night. I saved, went to bed, woke up 5 hours later, booted it up and bam.

Maybe make a backup and change the name to Soul silver.nds/.sav and then put new firmware on it?
It's just a suggestion....
