Sony has released a new update, bringing the number up to version 3.66

This update is supposed to fix system and network stability. According to sony, "System stability during use of PS3 format software and network services has been improved"

Eh, never noticed a single difference post-update. Sony should really get something worthwhile pushed out during their system updates. The past ten-ish have all been these 'tweaks' that supposedly make things better.

i never had doubts, but i didn't want to say anything that im not sure of (how much can you trust some random people that comment on articles) if someone here on GBAtemp said so, i would probably be inclined to accept it; only reason why i hang out here is that i know the majority of people that actually know what they're posting about

that being said, the update is running now for me, slow ass connection

Funny, I had 3.66 on Tuesday. The newest version of the netflix app stopped working w/o it. No change log though.

BTW Another update for surround sound headphones has been announced to be coming soon.
