Sonic X Shadow Generations leaked

Game works just fine on 18.1.0 Switch.

Spec wise it seems to be like this:

OG Generations
handheld: 720p, 30fps
docked: 1080p, 30fps
Slight detail changes between modes. Has the same crappy per-object motion blur as the og game on PS3/360, so it feels very similar to those versions except for its slightly higher res. Shadows are extremely blocky for some reason. This is a near 1:1 port of the og game, I'm not that impressed, they should've targeted 60fps.

Shadow Generations
both modes: dynamic 720p, 30fps
More noticeable detail changes between modes, but overall looks nicer than og gens while running equally smoothly. I'm impressed. Overclocking can improve the dynamic res a bit but the 30fps seems stable no matter what
Mind if I ask how you installed it? Been trying all day with both DBI and Awoo. Awoo refuses to install it and DBI installs it but the game doesn't run, crashes on launch with a generic error. I'm on OFW 18.1.0 just like you with Atmos 1.7.1

I am also on 18.1 and same Atmosphere, also used DBI and it works fine for me. Are you sure you updated the sigpatches when you updated to 18.1? Older games would run but not newer ones.

Yep, completely up to date, both sigpatches and sys-patch. I'm having this issue both with Sonic and Mario And Luigi Brothership, both leaked games. Oh and if it matters, both games are NSP converts. I'm currently downloading the XCI for Sonic to see if that one works

I used usb transfer, with ns-usbloader on a Mac and Awoo on Switch. It sounds like your copy of the game might be corrupt? I would recommend trying the game on an emulator first, like ryujinx, just to make sure it loads properly. Then try installing it again.

I figured as much. Awoo won't even install it for me and I'm downloading it from the site mentioned in the OP, it's usually trustworthy
EDIT: The Sonic XCI works on the emulator but when I try to install it via USB, I get a blank icon on the main menu that doens't do anything

Does the install go through successfully in awoo? When I get the blank icon, it means the file didn't install completely. Usually because of USB timeout errors, which seem to be completely random with no way around them except literal luck. But awoo will tell me if it fails like that.

If you're willing to wait a much longer time, you can try using DBI's FTP install function to do it wirelessly. I've found that to be much more reliable. It works at about 1/10 the speed though.

Also, random thing to double check but make sure you have enough free storage? I've run into issues with games installing, only to find out it's because I forgot to free up space lol

Your sigpatches are not correctly installed I'm pretty sure, I have the same setup and both Sonic X Shadow and Mario & Luigi Brotherhood are working for me. You should try a clean install of atmosphere by deleting folder (not overwriting it) then copying a fresh atmosphere folder, then copy the sigpatches inside atmosphere folder. The blank icon indicates sigpatches issue.

No, Awoo doesn't install it at all, it complains about an invalid signature, even on the supposedly signed XCI. DBI on the other hand shows no errors and installs just fine, both via USB and MTP. Storage isn't an issue either, I have around 30 GB free on my SD card

Well might as well try that

If the game runs on emulators, but is behaving like that on real hardware, then yeah it's probably a sigpatch issue

Welp, that didn't work. Even after fully re installing Atmosphere(I deleted the Atmos folder and replaced it with a new one and then added the patches on top) the XCI still comes up as a blank icon
EDIT: So I'm only now learning that there has been a change with Atmosphere and it no longer supports sigpatches? I boot atmos via Hecate, could that be the issue I'm facing here?
EDIT2: SUCCESS!After doing some googling I came across a thread here on GBATemp that explained the change in the sigpatches situation. From there I downloaded a custom version of Fusee.bin as well as the hecate patches and both games now install and run correctly! Thank you to both of you for being so patient with me

Good luck, Sega puts Denuvo on all their games and while most companies only have it on a game 6 months to 1 year, Sega NEVER gets rid of it for any game. That's why none of their games are cracked.
They removed from Sonic Mania and other games afaik...

sadly, more and more people want all-digital era because they believe it's more convenient (mostly true) and leads to cheaper games (excluding game sevices and chinese gacha it's totally bullcrap).
Thats a personal choice. Shouldn't close doors on those who prefer a sense of physical ownership. Digital leaks are a thing too. A hacked switch is potent enough to make digital dumps "nsp" is literally the dump container of eshop games. Look at physical retro games now - I go to my local Trade it store and find GBA games sitting at $50+ pokemon Fire Red was $100. My point being these games will have excellent value in the future. Can't sell a digital game.
