im using Maxell Memorex dvd-r and it doesnt get past the remote saftey screen, then the disk slot makes a noise and says disk couldnt be read. > 4 tries 1x 2x 2.4x 3x using imgburn. same problem everytime.

I must be one of the lucky ones...
I have an NTSC Wii, with most of my backups on TDK DVD +R (I got 100 for $15), all burned at 8x speed with ImgBurn, all work 100%. Common sense tells me that not all Wii dvd drives are created equal...just my two cents.

Doesn't changing the book type enable it though?

Hey I was wondering I rented this game and used the dvd dumper and made working copy but a couple days later it dosn't seem to start up anymore. anybody know how i can fix it ?
