At least now i seem to have been wrong. The drama (or at least the public kind) seems to be mostly gone. No telling what is still happening on the inside with staff, but it's more respectable at least.

And yeah, i wasn't saying the Sonic hackers aren't amazingly talented people. Because they most certainly are. Some of the best fan works i've ever seen have come from that site and similar ones. Sonic Megamix is epic, this is epic, Fan Remix is epic, etc.

Har. real mature, guys. Glad to know this is what you resort to when you are completely obliterated in an argument.

Not in the least way. ha ha .
I made my point clearly.
You just have a BIG problem accepting it.
And you obviosly did'nt get the message when I was referring that I would rewrite the bible.
The point was that some things are useless if they go beyond their extent.
Just like your posts as a matter a fact....

Face it, this remake will NEVER revolutionize Sonic.
In the end it's just the SAME game. NO matter what engine is used or who's behind it.
It's sonic for god's sake. It's like reinventing the wheel.
But nevertheless, kudo's to the devs.

Now, if you would excuse me, I'm going to take my spraycan of bleu paint and see if there are any horny hegdehogs in the forest.
Yes, I love "graphical" stuff. Hmm...Now, that's an original idea for a game!

P.S. Please lighten up! Don't become depressed, gaming is meant to be fun and entertaining.

Opinions are never "right," only facts are. So here's the fact: Sonic 2 HD is something awesome, something complex...
Do you even know the difference between facts and opinions?

It's very simple: most gamers do not know shit about developing games. That's 90% of GBAtemp.

FYI, You don't know shit about GBA temp, that's why you think it's simple.
And if you are not simple, use 10% of your brain and make a game about blue hedgehogs!
Everybody obviously, knows how the process works! ( it's been engineerd on for 20 + years..)

Yes, I do not know about how most of the community is only here to get the latest software for their DS flashcart, write a glowing review/criticism of a game or get help for configuring their Wifi connection. I do not know ARM assembly language nor do I know anything about game development. I do not do anything constructive with my life, like not posting here for 3 days because I was out of town for a jazz gig. Making games is not hard, neither is developing a talent whether it's musical, graphical or conceptual. It is much harder to write a flame-like or troll-like post on a forum answering to a nobody. I cannot accomplish anything, I know absolutely nothing about practice and the struggle to be discovered as an individual talent whether it be in the game or music industry. Nothing. You are so right, I should use just 10% of my brain and edit a post and leave glaring mistakes like "engineerd" in my posts. I shouldn't be taken seriously even though I cite facts in context, use good grammar and spelling, but your posts make so much more sense because for many people opinions are easier to agree with than facts.

If everyone understands how the game development process works, I could post irrelevant links to IGN or some other bitching pit. Perhaps you should instead reread the first few pages of this thread. I could give you links for that, but I think GBATemp is simple to navigate (and simple in general).

EIDT: @King Zargo and Rydian: I have opinions and should not have stated them in the form that I had. Sonic 2 HD is awesome in my opinion but is very complex. Sorry, my opinion's not a fact, I should have not inserted it in such a place. My genuine apologies.
