HEY GUYS I GOT A PATCH TO MAKE SONIC 2 AND KNUCKLES WORK ON JENESIS DS!


REALLY THE PATCH TRIMS THE ROM DOWN TWO 1 MB.

I TESTED IT ON THE NEW REALESE OF JENESIS DS AND IT WORKS!!

NOW WE CAN PLAY SONIC 2K VIA JENISIS DS WITH BETTER EMULATION THEN SONIC CLASSIC COLLECTION!

Hey is it possible that you can make a patch for Sonic 3 & Knuckles?

perhaps.

i made the s2k 1 mb patch using a rom i found somewhere (THE ROM IS VERY HARD TO FIND)

if i stumble across a s3k 1 mb rom i will make a patch.

sorry i no nothing about mega man willy wars so i PROBABLY will not make a patch for it.
though if i do stumble across a willy wars 1mb rom i will certainly do a patch for that.

Sorry for bumping this old topic but someone found a solution to my earlier question. a way to play megaman the wily wars on jEnesis. I thought I'd post the link in case anyone was interested:

for those of us that have genny goodsets, can you provide the complete filename of the 1mb s2k rom you found? It's probably in there, perhaps as a (pX) pirated? and I think GBATemp would allow it since they give out the filenames of DS and Wii releases all the time.

EDit: just checked my set, all S3K are 4,096 K except for the overdump which is just bigger anyway

Guys I think I'm doing something wrong. I tried patching both of these games and they still don't work for jEnesisDS. Looking at this:

I put the rom .bin file at the top. And then put the patch .ips file on the bottom. Then I click the patch button. It says it was patched sucessfully. But when I go to play it it still doesn't work. What's wrong?

EDIT - Guys I got megaman the wily wars working, but sonic 2 and knuckles still doesn't work.

Anyway, the patch runs on Sonic 2, NOT Sonic 2K.
