Some games work but most of the time black screen

I am returning to my modded Wii after many years. I want to introduce my grand children to the Mario Brothers fun. I have updated everything I can think of. I am getting the black screen on games but Resort works sometimes. I am thinking it may be the SD card, but I have also tried as PNY 32gb thumb drive that worked for a one day. Please see System Check file below. Any insight is appreciated.

Why did the thumb drive work for one day only?

I dont know. I have reformatted the thumbdrive and recopied the games to iy and loader recognizes the games but black screen now when trying to load them.m again wii resort loads sometimes using SD card but most of the time like 99% it gives black screen. im baffled. seems its the loader but i have tried downloading again and it still not loading games.

try format WBFS of your USB key with wbfsmanager (not guaranteed that it works)

or get an external hard drive and you'll be fine

Thank you! I have a seagate 3TB but I see that they shouldn't be more than 2TB. I made two partitions, but it still couldn't be read by loader gx. I also understand I should get a y-cable to plug drive into both usb ports on the Wii.

If this is a near new drive, you may check if the drive is gen 2 with "Advanced 4k Format" Label printed on it. Then it may possible to use up to 16TB by 64k sectorsize. Or you may check in Windows Powershell/Linux Terminal, see here => Advanced Format.
