Just reached R3 with my Dual Kampf. Found out you can relocate skill points, so swapped Twin Edge for Assasinate.

What skill tree does the Soma have, seeing as they can only use Staffs? so.. 1 tree for staffs? and 2 others for spells?

Which means they can pick and choose like they want, compared to the other classes, that has to pick from what weapon they choose at creation?

They got 4 skill trees, Wind, Earth, Water and the last one I don't remember.

They can put points in all of them.

At character creation they get a staff, but there are no actual staff skills for them, and they can equip any weapon they like and still use magic.

My friend has a Soma with a sword and shield.

Sounds like Soma's are great lol. I guess they get some sort of healing aswell? =P Maybe some cool passive skills like faster Soma Regen?

Just made a Soma to check out it's skill, bah, i can probably not even fill one tree, and all 4 of them have skill's that are good, like water had healing, wind had SP regen.

I hope i can fit enough points in 2 tree's. What's the max level in this game, 99?

Max is 20. But there are weapons/armor with +1 to skills, If i remember correct.

Yup, but i wanna know the max level of your level, so i know exactly how many points i can put on skills.

Kampfs work better with fists.

The R3-R2-R1 fist combo does ridiculous damage.

I was originally a gunner using bows, but I felt that the bows were pretty weak, so I converted to guns, and changed all my skills....

i tink the game map kinda too wide n confusing at the end....get bored for me

uses dual sword battler (completed)
got a soma (gav up on it)
a bow gunner (half way through)
fist kampfs (weak dmg at strt)
2H sword Darks (slow atk spd)

I'd love to try this game but from what I understand it's only available in Japanese? I heard there was a English patch for it though, if that were the case I'd be very interested (If talk if language patching isn't allowed please delete this post).

A few questions, if there is a patch, how much is translated, and is it translated over well? And onto the game, when you upgrade weapons/armour, does it have a visual impact? What's the average playtime required for a play through? (Without rushing)?
