I got a ps vita recently the screen had a massive crack in it so I replaced it but when i try booting it up I just get a solid green light with a black screen then I struggle to turn it off and sometimes when I boot it up it makes the sounds as if it’s working as normal but with a black screen

Try reseating the ribbon connector for the screen and make sure it's clean. If not maybe bad screen?
